Rida Ouledhaddou is the founder and content creator of German Online Tests. He focuses on German language education and exam preparation (Goethe, TestDaF, Telc) and creates and reviews all learning resources and practice materials on the platform.
The platform provides practice tests and learning resources to help learners prepare for CEFR levels A1–C2 and common exam formats. All guides and articles are fact-checked against official sources and our Editorial Policy.
Methodology
Every test on this platform is cross-referenced with the official CEFR guidelines and previous Goethe-Zertifikat, TestDaF, and telc exam patterns to ensure high accuracy. Materials are reviewed against current exam formats and updated when official bodies change requirements.

Why I Created This
I started German Online Tests because I saw too many learners struggling to find reliable, free practice materials that actually mirror the exams they were preparing for. Whether you're aiming for a Goethe-Zertifikat, TestDaF, or a telc certificate, the gap between "generic German exercises" and "exam-style tasks" is huge—and that gap can cost you time, money, and confidence.
When I looked at what was available online, I found either paid-only platforms that not everyone could afford or free resources that didn't match official task types and difficulty. I wanted to build a place where anyone, anywhere, could practice with materials that feel like the real thing: same question formats, similar text types, and clear explanations when you get something wrong.
Every test and guide on this site is designed with that goal in mind. I cross-reference CEFR descriptors and past exam patterns from Goethe, TestDaF, and telc so that when you sit the actual exam, the format isn't a surprise. I also focus on all four skills—reading, listening, writing, and speaking—because passing an exam means being prepared across the board, not just in one area.
Running German Online Tests has taught me how much small, consistent practice matters. Learners who use the site regularly tell me that the explanations and the structure of the tasks help them understand not only "what" the right answer is but "why." That's the kind of learning that sticks and that carries over into the exam room.
